| Are you ready for your close-up? |

Think you’re naturally un-photogenic? Think again! Looking
HOT on film isn’t down to genes. It’s down to knowing how to
work that camera baby! Improve your photo-bility with these celebrity tricks. |
 |
Your posture
On the red carpet celebs make themselves look longer, leaner and more relaxed with clever footwork. Stand turned ¾ towards the camera. Place one foot behind the other and lean your weight onto your back foot. Then place your hand high on the hip of the front leg. Keep your head held high, your chin tucked in and your shoulders back and VOILA, you are an Amazonian mega-babe with legs up to your armpits!
Your face
When stars are feeling puffy they don’t hide themselves away. They hide their double chins instead. You can do the same by resting your chin gently on your hand. Or get greater facial definition by insisting the photographer snap you from above. Then tilt your head to one side and smile. Hey presto, you’re cool, calm and confident in front of the camera. If you’re worried about your skin, switch your digital camera to black and white mode. As any ‘40s starlet will tell you, it’s very forgiving of blemishes.
Your attitude
It takes 20 mins for your stomach to tell your brain when it’s full, so if you eat more slowly, your mind and your stomach are more likely to be in tune with each other. When we eat too quickly we often eat too much and end up feeling bloated.
Enjoy it!
Models don’t think of cheese when they get their photos taken. They think of something funny instead. Remembering old jokes is a great way to achieve a genuine looking smile. If you fear the camera though, you’ll never feel relaxed enough to look your best. Get together with some mates and increase your confidence with a practice photo-sesh. |
